What is Made This TV?

Who is Made This TV for?
Content owners, federations, broadcasters, event organisers, and publishers who want control of brand, data, and business without building the entire stack themselves.
How is it different from off-the-shelf OTT solutions?
You own the apps, the data, and the roadmap. You get production-ready native apps under your developer accounts, flexible business models, and a real team to talk to instead of stitching vendors together yourself.
Is Made This TV software or a service?
Both. The platform is software we build, host, and operate alongside you. You get production-ready apps and infrastructure plus an ongoing partner team, not a tool you have to staff and run yourself.
Use cases and business models
Can I combine more than one business model?
Yes, and most customers do. Free clips, a season subscription, and pay-per-view finals can all run side-by-side on the same platform, for the same audience.
Can I switch business models later?
Yes. The model isn't locked in. Change it whenever your business changes. Start with a single event, add a subscription tier when you're ready.
What if our use case isn't listed?

Can I gate content by region or membership?
Yes. Memberships, tiers, geo-rules, and concurrent stream limits are built in. Apply them to any video, season, or live event.
Platform and technical
Do we own the apps after launch?
Yes. The native apps are branded as yours and submitted under your developer accounts. You own them, including the App Store and Play Store listings.
Do we need to replace our existing video pipeline?
No. The platform integrates with whatever transcoder, CDN, origin, and DRM provider you're already using. We don't force a pipeline replacement.
Can the platform integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. The platform connects to the billing, CRM, transcoder, CDN, content database, and customer systems you already use. Built-in payment is an option, not a requirement.
How does the platform scale?
The architecture is modular and cloud-based. Capacity expands stepwise with your audience without re-architecting.

Is the platform GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Made This TV is hosted in the EU, GDPR-ready, and your audience data stays yours.
How does content protection work?
Studio-grade DRM (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady) across devices, plus access control, geo-rules, concurrent stream limits, VPN detection, and IP enforcement.
Where is our data stored?
EU only. Made This TV is hosted in the EU across redundant regions; your audience data and video assets stay within EU borders.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement?
Yes. We provide a GDPR-compliant DPA on request, with a documented sub-processor list.
